First Snowfall in North Vancouver!

Our first snowfall in Vancouver came really early this year on November 2. It really took us by surprise, because we had a bunch of beautiful sunny days and mild weather before it happened. These pictures are from The Lions, which can be seen from Cleveland Dam, a beautiful spot between the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain through Capilano Road. It is very close to the Lions Gate bridge coming from downtown Vancouver.

Our very Edgemont Suite is just 5 min. away by car and a few more minutes by bus. It is an spectacular sight. In Summer, is like being in a scene of The Sound of Music. It is a peaceful retreat.

The Capilano Lake ends at Cleveland Dam where most of the drinking water is supplied to Vancouver. It is worth the visit and is not out of your way if you stay at NorthVanSuites. All of our suites are close by.
